Link your Apple Card, Apple Cash, and Savings accounts to track transactions and balances in one place inside PocketGuard. You can sync Apple Wallet data and add your Apple accounts to the app in just a few steps.
Requirements
Before you start, make sure you have:
- An iPhone with iOS 17.4 or later
- The latest version of PocketGuard installed
- Background App Refresh enabled for PocketGuard
Note: Apple accounts can only be connected through the PocketGuard mobile app on iPhone.
How to connect your Apple accounts in PocketGuard
- Go to Accounts;
- Hit + in the upper right corner;
- Select Link external account;
- Choose Apple Card from the list.
- Follow the prompts to connect your Apple Wallet;
Enable Background App Refresh
This is required to keep your Apple accounts synced.
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Go to General → Background App Refresh
- Find PocketGuard
- Turn Background App Refresh ON
What gets synced
- Transactions
- Account balances
- Ongoing updates via Background App Refresh
Can I disconnect my Apple accounts?
Yes. Go to Account Settings, select the account, and tap Disconnect.
Having trouble connecting?
If your Apple Card is not connecting or syncing, try the following:
- Open Settings on your iPhone
- Scroll to PocketGuard
- Select Wallet
- For each card, choose:
- Limited Time Period
- Starting 30 Days Ago (not “Since Opening”)
- Try connecting again in the PocketGuard app

No. Linking Apple Card, Cash, and Savings is only available on iOS devices with the PocketGuard app.
