How to Fix Duplicate Transactions in PocketGuard

Duplicate transactions usually happen when the same bank account is linked to PocketGuard twice – either as two separate linked accounts or as one linked account plus a manually added one. 

Here’s how to fix it:

  1. Check for duplicate linked accounts. If the same bank account appears twice in your account list, hide one of the duplicates so its transactions stop being counted twice.
  2. Check for duplicate manually-added accounts. If you’ve added the same account both through bank sync and manually, keep only one.
  3. Sign out and sign back in. This forces the app to re-sync your accounts and often clears up duplicate or mismatched transactions on its own.
